Homeopathy is wonderful when it works, which is why it’s really a good idea to see a naturopathic physician, or someone else who specializes in homeopathy. Short of that, there are sites that give great recommendations by people who are very well versed in homeopathy for somewhat simple problems. When you have a more complicated problem, there might be too many conflicting opinions on a web site.
The problem I have with HCG Homeopathic Drops is that it’s my understanding HCG is too large a molecule to pass the blood-brain barrier. Not that that stopped me from trying a homeopathis HCG product!
Maybe some of the homeopathic products do work, I don’t know. I’m sure I didn’t give it enough of a trial when it didn’t work for me – I just didn’t buy another bottle, and quit using it when it didn’t work. From the research I did, so far the only method of getting HCG into your system to do the job it’s meant to do is by injection.
If you suspect you’re low on HCG, and want to know if you’re low, it can be measured at your doctors office, or more often by an endocrinologist, 1st by doing an IGF-1 test, and if your level is low your doctor will probably run a GHRH test, and then by getting an MRI of your brain to see if you have a pituitary tumor.
Measuring GH doesn’t tell a doctor what they want to know, so if, like me, a doctor writes a prescription to run this test, instead of the IGF-1 test, ask them to run the IGF-1 instead, and if they won’t, find another doctor. Doctors who know about growth hormone know GH is not the test you want. My doctors partner 1st wrote for the lab to run the GH test because he didn’t know, but then ran the IGF-1 when I explained why you run the IGF-1 instead of the GH test. Like anything else, some doctors egos can’t handle it if you try to educate them, not many, but it happens. Consider you’re lucky if you don’t have one of those! That said, GH stim test, and GH suppression test are run, but not until a problem is found by running the IGF-1 test, and the GH stim or GH suppression tests aren’t simple lab tests, they have to be run after fasting, and over a 3 hour period.
I tried homeopathic HCG because #1 I have 2 pituitary tumors, and #2 my levels of growth hormone are extremely low. The cost of HCG from a doctor is outrageously expensive – I think it’s $1,500 a month – even if it’s necessary for a diagnosed condition like I have.
As far as homeopathic web sites … our oldest daughter has psoriasis, and was suffering silently. I could tell it was causing her a great deal of torment, and I was willing to do almost anything to help her. Fortunately I’m a big believer in alternative medicine, so I went online, to a homeopathic web site, and there were 2 overriding opinions regarding what to do. When I researched it seemed I could trust one over the other hands down, and so I bought homeopathic Sulphur – I don’t remember what dose offhand. Within 3 weeks she was almost completely cleared up! BUT, this is where you have to be a little careful. Homeopathy is incredible, but it’s based on your constitutional type – we lucked out – her constitutional type is sulphur! I’m now having a terrible time with psoriasis, and thought it would be as easy as grabbing a bottle of homeopathic Sulphur – just like I did for our daughter, but no such luck. It didn’t work for me at all. That was a year ago, and it’s really bad – nothing has worked short of biologicals, and I don’t want to use them. I have too many other health problems, and just don’t want to take the chance. Because I was reviewing the HCG, it brought up my memories of our luck with homeopathy, and got me thinking about homeopathy again, I will go back to the forum of abc homeopathy, and do some more research to see if I can’t find something that will work for me. I’ll let you know if I do!

Although I have not started using this product. I plan to begin this summer. It is being stored in the refridgerator. The expiration date is in the year 2014. So I still have plenty of time. I know the diet must be followed strictly, so I have to be ready before I begin.
