Great product. Holds info. for up to 4 people. I purchased the scale for my husband who is a triathlete who wanted to keep track of his hydratio level, body fat, etc. The scale does it all, and it’s easy to use. Also works as a regular scale and is acurate to .5lbs. I even use it for packages to be sent over Christmas! Overall, a good product for the money!

The Tanita BC553 Ironman is much easier to read than other scales. It also has more useful information than our old Tanita scale. Based upon other information (body fat measurement and caloric estimations), this body composition monitor seems quite accurate. We like it so much, we gave it as gifts to several friends.

I take a long time to pick items out for purchase. This was no different. I love having the four profile buttons at the front, I hit ’1′ with my toe, wait a second, step on, stand still for six seconds, and bam – I have my weight, bone mass, fat %, etc.
I love it. Girlfriend hates it. You know it’s good!

This scale/bodyfat tester is of great quality. I have also been very impressed with the overall accuracy. Both my wife and I are trainers and are pretty nutty about tracking our weight and bodyfat. The numbers are fairly consistant over time and compare well with other impedence testers and caliper body fat tests.
The overall body scan is also helpful, giving bone mass, percentage of water, muscle weight, and metabolic age. It says that I have a metabolic age of 12 though I am 37 years old — so of course I’m going to like this thing!

it does everything it says it will. it is easy to use and accurate. I had one that just did weight and fat, but got this one because it includes water % (hydration), metabolic age, and bone mass features.
